Effective 26 August 2026
These terms cover two different relationships: the agreement between BeeSync and a school that subscribes, and the terms on which individuals — parents, teachers, administrators — use the app their school gave them.
BeeSync is operated by Adnan Fares, a sole trader based in Lebanon ("BeeSync", "we"). Using the app or the school portal means accepting these terms.
BeeSync has no public sign-up. Schools create accounts for their staff and for parents. This means:
One account can belong to several schools — a teacher at one and a parent at another. Each school sees only its own relationship with you.
A school using BeeSync agrees that it:
BeeSync stores and transmits this information on the school's instructions. We do not decide what is recorded about a student.
Do not use BeeSync to harass anyone, to publish unlawful or abusive content, to reach data you were not given access to, to probe or interfere with the service, or to scrape it. School administrators can hide or remove content posted at their school. We may suspend an account involved in serious or repeated misuse, and will tell the school when we do.
School data stays the school's. Posts, messages, grades, attendance and student records entered through BeeSync belong to the school that entered them; we claim no ownership and use them only to run the service. The software, design and branding remain ours.
We work to keep BeeSync running during school hours and to schedule maintenance outside them, but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee. It depends on infrastructure we do not control, and on your own network. The mobile app keeps working offline for reading and queues what you write until the connection returns.
Schools pay per the licence agreed with them. Parents and teachers never pay BeeSync anything — if you are asked to, it is not us. Fee records inside the app are the school's own bookkeeping; BeeSync does not process payments and never handles card or bank details.
An individual may stop using BeeSync at any time and ask for their account to be deleted — see Delete your data.
A school may end its subscription on notice. When it does:
We may suspend or end a school's access for non-payment or serious breach of these terms, with notice and a reasonable chance to put it right, except where the breach is severe enough to need immediate action.
BeeSync is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data caused by something outside our control. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Said plainly: BeeSync is a communication and record-keeping tool. It is not a substitute for a school's own duty of care, its statutory records, or emergency procedures. Do not rely on a push notification to convey something urgent about a child's safety — phone the school.
We may update these terms. Material changes are notified to schools through the portal before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page changes. Continuing to use BeeSync after that means accepting the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Lebanon have jurisdiction over any dispute.
